Why I upgraded to a 2 liter coffee mug... or at least why I thought about it.

February 21, 2016

An exagerated picture of me looking tired and holding a LARGE coffee mug
I never realized how much work my wife did until she was gone.

On February 3, Ivonne and Judah flew to the USA because of complications with her latest pregnancy. The other three boys and I will be joining her later. BUT in the meantime, I have been playing the role of Mr. Mom, home school teacher, and cook, along with all my other ministerial duties. Which explains why the boys are probably a little grungier and their clothes don't match as well as they normally do. Keeping them busy, breaking up fights, making sure they do their homework, making sure they have fun... and for some reason they insist on eating three times a day. It is tiring. But fortunately, Jonathan's diapers say they are good for up to 26 pounds so I have been able to save some work there (just kidding honey). Honestly, the boys and I are having fun and they might actually survive this ordeal... but did I mention I AM TIRED?

Picture of our first day of classes at the Los Lagos Bible School
The Lagos de Montebello Bible School is now in full swing and we just finished our first three weeks of classes. A total of 38 adults & 2 children attended the school our first day. Please keep this ongoing work in your prayers, we still have many obstacles to overcome.
Picture of students that made a public commitment to walk in purity
Every year I teach seven, one-hour sessions at the local boarding school on sexual purity. At the conclusion of the course during a special ceremony on Feb. 14, these brave young people made a public commitment before their families and peers to walk in purity, and save sex for marriage. I am proud of them all.

The house church in the little village of Palmira is outgrowing our current accommodations (which is a good thing). Please pray for more space, more growth and wisdom and grace as we train our local leaders.
