This month we’re celebrating the delicious sweets & treats available at the Market! Whether you love  chocolate fondue from Providore, old style favourites from the Old Lolly Shop, a sweet fruit tea from T Bar or a freshly baked delight from Dough – we will be sharing some of our favourites throughout February.

CELEBRATING 147 YEARS!
On 23 January 2016 the Market celebrated its 147th birthday with a special tribute to our original traders and a barbecue breakfast supporting the City of Adelaide Lions Clubballoon give away, face painting, live music and more! Thank you to all that attended and celebrated our milestone.

CONVERSARE IN THE MARKET
On Tuesday 23 February 2016 from 6pm to 9pm, the Market will play host to Conversare, a fantastic way to participate in conversation, enjoy good food from the Market and create social connections. Fortnightly events will be hosted in the Gouger Dining Area by Alan Stewart who has previously run similar events overseas, with great success.

VALENTINE'S DAY 
We've searched the Market for our top three tips to spoil you Valentine this Valentine's Day.

1. Locally made decorated love heart shortbread biscuits are avilable Providore.
2. Collect a variety of speciality cheeses from Say or Smelly Cheese, fresh sourdough bread from Wild Loaf, and a variety of favourite chocolates from Charlesworth Nuts for a picnic using Market produce. 
3. And of course, fresh roses from Central Market Flowers!
