Imsak for Fasting (Wajib, Qadha or Mustahab): Imsak is the precautionary time when a momin should begin fasting to ensure that he begins his fast before the exact fajr time. It is the responsibility of the momineen to take the necessary precaution - especially in this case where there are different calculation methods - to ensure they fast prior to the Imsak timing and pray after Fajr begins.
  • The Fajr  prayer timings have been calculated for Masjid AlRasool AlAkram (zip 77099) according to the Leva Research Institute of Qum. Please add 5mins to Fajr as a precautionary measure. For more information, visit our website
