Do you have an animal lover on your list? Does someone on your list love flowers or walks in the woods? Well, animals, flowers and walks in the woods are three of the things I love best, and I have a variety of gift items I've made inspired by animals and nature. That's what Portraits of Animals is all about!
I have plenty of unique and inexpensive items I've made by hand or printed from my artwork. You can find them at the events listed here, or follow the links to my Etsy shop and my website.
Everything I sell is either made by me, or it's made from one of my paintings, photos or designs by a printer or other vendor here in my area. All of us entrepreneurs and small businesses support each other, and your purchases go a long way toward keeping the local economy healthy.
WHAT'S AVAILABLE?
In addition to a few things I'll feature, I offer hand-printed t-shirts and tote bags, hand-printed gift bags and prints and originals of all kinds! Browse Etsy or the Marketplace on my website—or read below.
CROCHETED PAWPRINT SETS AND FLOWER SETS
These pawprints and flowers are my own designs, and each one is made by me from carefully selected cotton yarns.
I've collected two or three of each of my crocheted cloths along with a bar of handmade natural soap to create sweet little gift sets. The pink and brown set pictured includes two pawprints and a bar of Pink Peppermint Refreshment handmade glycerine soap, a happy little gift for children or adults! You can see the whole selection of both pawprints and flowers in my shop on Etsy, or visit me at one of the events!
NOTECARDS AND WRITING PAPER
Get tired of e-mail? I do. And sometimes e-mail doesn't feel right for certain types of messages—only a good old-fashioned written note will do.
Whether pen and ink, pencil or full color my notecards are beautifully printed on quality card stocks with envelopes to match, and packaged in durable viewable boxes, just right for storing for your own use or for giving as gifts.
You can find my feline-oriented correspondence materials in the Marketplace on my website under Feline Notecards and Greeting Cards.
You can find the nature-oriented correspondence materials in the Marketplace on my website under Nature Greeting Cards.
GREETING CARD SETS
I have to raise my price on greeting cards after the first of the year—right now they are $1.50 each and a dozen for $12.00, but they'll soon be $2.50 each and a dozen for $20.00, so stock up now!
I'm proud to say that "Peaches and Peonies", above, won a Muse Medallion for Illustration in the 2010 Cat Writer's Communication Contest. I offer this as both a card and a print.
Flowers, flowers, flowers! I have two sets of flower-oriented greeting cards, one of my paintings and one of my photos. The art cards, made from my paintings, are blank in side and feature only my artwork on the front. The more formal greeting cards feature my photos of garden flowers and wildflowers and are also blank inside but feature a sentiment on the cover.
Buy them for yourself to give through the year or purchase a set to give as a gift. I offer Animal Sympathy Cards, Feline Art Cards, and Flower Greeting Cards and In the Garden Art Cards on my website.
