Apply for an SAC Clinical Research Grant

Every year, Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC) awards up to two clinical research grants (CRGs) to members who are clinicians interested in conducting research or engaging in activities that increase research capacity. The grants are valued at $2,500 each and will be awarded to projects that have practical clinical applications, will improve research capacity and will be useful to other clinicians.

SAC also administers a CRG mentorship program to assist candidates with their applications. To learn more, email Chantal Kealey at chantal@sac-oac.ca.

Eligibility Requirements:


To be eligible for a CRG, you must:
  • be a practicing speech-language pathologist or audiologist
  • be an SAC member
  • have, at minimum, a master's degree (or equivalent) in speech-language pathology or audiology
  • have at least one year of clinical experience
