A Touchdown for San Jose's Urban Forest

Thanks to funding from both the NFL and San José Councilmember Don Rocha, San José students at two high schools will have the benefit of 50 new shade trees to beautify and cool their campuses! The trees are being planted in honor of the 50th Superbowl being held in Santa Clara in February.

35,280 sq. ft  of 40 residential lawns have been converted in Santa Clara County since spring of 2015.

1,093,677 gallons of water will be saved over the next 2 years for the lawns we've transformed into drought-tolerant dreamscapes.

Great job Lawn Busters team!
