New Information
CPS Financial Crisis
Over the past week there has been much conversation within CPS, in the news, and in our community about the current CPS financial crisis.  We are optimistic that with the prolonged negotiations, CPS and the Chicago Teachers Union will be able to reach an agreement. We are also confident that Coonley will once again weather this storm as we have every budget impasse we have faced. With the proactive efforts of parents, community, and the Coonley school staff we feel assured that we will be able to continue to provide our students with every educational opportunity that they currently enjoy. CPS has released a letter to parents detailing the latest news. We appreciate your patience as we await further information from CPS. We will keep you informed as this process unfolds.

Coonley Basketball
We would like to congratulate all of our basketball players on a great season.  We would like to thank all of the coaches for their hard work and dedication.  We appreciate all of the positive support we receive from our parents. All of our boys and girls teams made the playoffs.  We would like to send a special congratulations to our girls 7th and 8th grade team. They are currently undefeated as Network 2 champs and begin the city playoffs against Network 5 on Tuesday (location and time TBD).
