CE City - Payment Issues and Enrollment - If you enrolled in CE City during 2015 to meet the public health objective requirement for Meaningful Use, please be sure to pay the 2nd CE City invoice you received in January which is for the 2016 Meaningful Use reporting period. This payment coincides with the CMS requirement which states that you must show intent to engage with the registry (continue the service) within the first 60 days of this year-long Meaningful Use reporting period. Therefore, you are required to pay the 2nd  invoice by February 26th or the CE City service will be deactivated and consequently you will not meet the public health objective for MU. EP’s that have NOT yet signed up for CE City must do so by February 26th as well in order to meet the MU requirement for 2016.  If you have any questions, please contact STI Support.
Meaningful Use News and Updates - Please keep in mind that the Meaningful Use Attestation deadline is February 29th, 2016. Before the end of your reporting period you should have upgraded to ChartMaker 2016 (file version 6.1.1).  In addition, please be sure to select the correct certification number for ChartMaker Medical Suite based on the version(s) of the software you were using during your reporting periodFor any questions on attesting, please see the Attestation User Guide.  In addition, there have been important updates made to the Meaningful Use program for 2016 that may directly affect you. Review the following Provider Tipsheet provided by CMS to familiarize your office with these changes.
Change Healthcare and POMCO Claims - On December 17, 2015, POMCO released a bulletin stating they would no longer accept claims from Emdeon/Change Healthcare as of March 1, 2016. We are pleased to inform you that Change Healthcare was able to get in touch with the COO of POMCO, Jeff Winchell and there will be no disruption with Change Healthcare’s claims connections. Therefore, Change Healthcare will continue to accept POMCO claims. This miscommunication will be corrected in an updated POMCO letter that will be forwarded to providers.  If you have any further questions, please contact Software Support.

  • Electronic Prior Authorization: Based on the initial feedback and testing from our early adopters, we were able to rectify issues with the ePA module in our latest release of ChartMaker Medical Suite. We are eager to hear your feedback on this newest labor-saving feature. Sign up today!
  • ChartMaker Mobile App: STI is coming out with a mobile app! Our initial focus is on displaying appointments, patient information and clinical information with extended goals to allow you more interaction including the ability to enter charges.  Our mobile app will allow providers to check-in on patients from anywhere they have access to their mobile device. Please stay tuned for more information about our launch date and upcoming features!
