Hello,
Have we found the new atheist capital for the U.S.? It seems like it - and the places there might not be what you were expecting!
This week we'll bring you a series of bold new developments in the secular community around the world. First off, we're sending out an all-call to secular parents around the nation, ensuring that our schools provide the best possible access to students of all non-religious backgrounds. It is all a part of our new work with PTCAN, the Parent Teacher Community Action Network, and its goal to begin a series of new secular-based community support networks in public schools around the nation.
Plus, we will share news about the advocate who's bringing the hard secular questions to this year's top presidential candidates - and the interesting results he's receiving back.
Find out more below, and learn how you can be a part of major policy change in an unexpected part of the world. Moving forward in this new week! |

We are looking for a few good parents to lead the charge in our schools for just that - and our trained staff will provide all the resources, training, and support you need to make it happen. Portland, Ore., San Francisco, Calif. and Seattle, Wash. are tied on a 2015 list of metropolitan areas with the most religiously unaffiliated residents (37%), according to the nonpartisan and nonprofit Public Religion Research Institute’s American Values Atlas, a survey of 50,000 people.
