Leader Specific Training on February 6!

Every Youth Deserves a Trained Leader! Trained leaders can deliver a Scouting program that is fun, well organized and will instill the values of the Scout Oath and Law for the rest of a boy’s life.

We will be offering Leader Specific training at the Salvation Army (1000 17th Ave S) on Saturday, February 6, starting at 10am. The class will go until 2:30pm. Lunch and snack items will be available for purchase at the Salvation Army snack bar.

The final training necessary for leaders to be considered trained is Basic Outdoor Leader Training.  The District will be offering that training at the Trail to First Class campout at Log Gulch Campground on April 17.  A future post will discuss that training, but mark your calendar!
