Sail the San Blas this Summer aboard ORION
90' Catana Catamaran, 2007 * $44,000 Inclusive

We've never seen a catamaran with such wide hallways before. This is a 90' catamaran! The saloon is enormous but even more striking is the feeling of space in the wide hallways leading to the five guest cabins. It's a grand, exciting feeling that calls "We've got plenty of room!" for three-generational families and lots of children to enjoy a cruise specializing in wake boarding this summer in Panama's exotic San Blas Islands!
ORION is run by an outstanding husband and wife team, Scott and Allison Fratcher, from California and New Zealand respectively, yachting professionals with the combined talents and experience of six crew positions – and more! One would be hard pressed to find another team to match Scott and Allison’s 25 year track record and combination of highly-developed skills and 200,000+ sea miles. Scott holds the world speed record for sailing a catamaran around the world in just 60 days.... He's written books on how to take underwater photography. Alison is a certified yoga instructor and trainer and specializes in vegan and fresh vegetable diets.
Because the yacht carries a tender with 90 hp outboard, tow bar, and "barefoot bar," which makes wake boarding easy, Scott specializes in wake-boarding, but he is active and sporty and offers water skiing, Go-Pro, snorkel gear, stand up paddle boards, and a 16' sailing dinghy to guests.
The yacht accommodates families of 10 in 4 cabins, but 1 has an alcove with two King-size beds plus outboard single bed, suitable for lots of children. Currently cruising the Eastern Caribbean, ORION will be available for charter in Panama's San Blas Islands this summer, an exciting, remote destination with beautiful water; a vast archipelago in a space of about 100 square miles, close to Panama in the Caribbean with 375 islands, many uninhabited, but some inhabited, ruled by a gentle native people known as the Kuna Indians, famous for their mola tapestries.

The most common way to get to the San Blas Islands is by flying from Panama City to El Porvenir, an island in the Gulf of San Blas, where you will sail the short hop to the San Blas. Your yacht will meet you in El Porvenir. Book flights here. Another way is to sail from Cartagena, the legendary city on the coast of Colombia, which has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Best time to visit: Year Round.
