TPN Biweekly Update 1.2
WHAT'S NEW
SUSTAINING VIRTUAL PEER LEARNING AND COLLABORATION COMMUNITIES
At TPN, we’re really excited about how virtual communities are transforming teacher professional learning and collaboration. Learn how ISTE, NCSS and ACTE use virtual communities to overcome isolation and create opportunities to learn and collaborate.

In part one we explored what spurred ISTE, NCSS and ACTE to build virtual communities. But it’s not enough to build something great. Sustaining interest and participation is a challenge for any community and especially difficult for virtual ones. In part two they share insights on:
  •  Valuing teachers as experts and inspiring them to contribute
  •  Helping new members get involved
  •  Understanding what teachers want and need
