RESOURCE: 38 Degrees tool to send email direct to your county councillors re government plans to by-pass councils and local consultation on fracking proposals

Government ministers are trying to change the law so big energy companies can drill for gas in our countryside - regardless of what local communities want. It would strip local councils of the right to say 'no' to dirty energy in their backyards.

If we make thousands of local councillors rebel against the government, they could be stopped in their tracks.

PETITION: The UK government OK plan to sow bee-endangering seeds across the country

Despite the fact that bee-endangering pesticides are banned in the EU, the UK government just gave the go-ahead to farmers to sow these toxic-coated seeds anyway. Any day now, Bayer and Syngenta's toxic bee-hurting seeds could be sown - wreaking even more havoc on our bees.
