Meet Chief Meteorologist, Greg Armbrecht! WCCB, Charlotte's CW welcomed the hard-working, happy go lucky Greg in October 2014. A native of the Philadelphia area, he's spent his career forecasting challenging weather including tropical storms in eastern Eastern Carolina and devastating twin tornadoes in Nebraska.
Greg met his wife and former co-host, Brittany Gunter, at WITN in Greenville, NC where he proposed live on air. In September 2014, they welcomed daughter Ella.
While he's not bringing you the weather, Greg enjoys traveling, being in nature, watching sports and firing up the grill with family and friends.

Smiles, tears, giggles and fits - Baby Mason Zell has polarized WCCB Charlotte's CW viewers with what critics call an excessive range of emoji-like expressions.
Drafted as a reserve member of WCCB Charlotte's CW's Street Team on October 15th 2015 by Kristine Zell and Jeff Zell, hosts of WCCB News Rising and WCCB News Got Game, baby Mason instantly won over fans with his adorable smile.
But critics were quick to chastise his extreme love of football and David Bowie jams. “It's the only thing that gets him to stop crying,” says Kristine.eff and Kristine blame Mason's youth for his mood swings and are currently in talks of extending his contract to 18 years.

The CW's new hit show DC's LEGENDS OF TOMORROW has landed. Its impact on the Thursday 8pm time period has already super heroic, perhaps even legendary. In its first four airings, LEGENDS improved the hour on WCCB with Adults 25-54 by 162% year-to-year. The time period growth in Men 25-54 is even bigger where ratings are up by 400%, beating the competition on WSOC/ABC, WCNC/NBC and WJZY/FOX.
