Identity Theft Checklist
Identity theft seems to be at its peak! Our office has received numerous calls from clients questioning phone calls they received from "IRS" scammers who threaten arrest if they do not pay. These scammers are tricky; they know a lot of information about you. It is important to remember, the IRS will never call you without first sending a letter via USPS.
We have added an "Identity Theft Checklist" to our website to help those who have been a victim of identity theft. The checklist provides helpful steps on what to do and who to contact. This checklist is located at the bottom of the General Tax Resources section of the Resources tab. Feel free to share this helpful tool!
If you have any questions or concerns, as always, please don't hesitate to contact our office.
