FALL CAMPAIGN UPDATE
Although we fell short of our $35,000 match, generously donated by Volunteer Park Trust committee members, the Campaign generated 14% increase in donations over last year and 88 new donors. The Trust continues to grow and operate within budget. Your donations will help fund:
- Our monthly 2nd Saturday Work Parties keeping the park beds weeded and looking sharp, as well as our Spring Planting Day and Fall Restoration Day.
- The spring installation of the Peach Garden II and the Seattle Garden Club bed.
- The upcoming Design Phase of the Amphitheater.
- Our annual FREE public events: Picnic in the Park and Holiday in the Park.
- More repairs and upgrades to the parks aging irrigation system and lighting in conjunction with the Volunteer Park Sustainability Coalition.
Thank you to everyone who shares our vision and dedication to keeping Volunteer Park the crown jewel of Seattle’s Olmsted parks! Every donation, big or small, helps immensely and is received with absolute gratitude. You can donate at any time on our website or by clicking here.

MLK DAY TRANSFORMS VOLUNTEER PARK
On January 18th, we had not one, but two amazing groups bringing over fifty people to help out Volunteer Park with energy and gusto: Seattle University Women’s Law Caucus and Phi Delta Epsilon, the UW medical fraternity. A big shout out to Aegis Living who provided coffee and giant cookies for everyone. The enthusiasm, energy and cheerfulness among participants was astounding, and produced results far exceeding our expectations for the day. Read more details here. Thank you everyone!
