JOIN THE BEAUMONT HSA BOARD FOR 2016 - 2017
Due to several of our board members reaching their maximum years of service in their positions, we are seeking new board members! Nominations are currently being solicited for the following 2015 - 2016 HSA board positions:
• Co-President (new role)
• 1st Vice President (leads Committee Chairs)
• 2nd Vice President (leads Homeroom Parents)
• Vice President of Communications (writes Beaumont Blast)
• Assistant Treasurer
• Secretary
We are planning to change the President's role and make it more of a team approach by having 2 Co-Presidents. If you or someone you know is interested in serving Beaumont in one of these roles in the fall, please contact HSA President, Courtney O'Brien. PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCE SCHEDULING -
ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSING FEBRUARY 21, SUN.
Schedule your parent-teacher conference online by visiting T/E's Home Access Center (HAC). Enter your individual username and password that you received in the mail. The online system closes on Sunday, February 21, so make sure to register. View sample letter and an example of the online form. The office will be able to assist you with any questions that you have and will help anyone who does not have internet access. Thank you for your support of the new system, and we hope the online features will add convenience to this process.
PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES - HALF DAYS ON FEBRUARY 24 - 26, WED., THURS., AND FRI.
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, February 24 - 26, which are half days (for Grades 1 - 4) and school will be dismissed at 12:20pm. Lunch will be served at an earlier schedule. View flyer for adjusted lunch schedule. There will be NO Kindergarten classes. Buses will drop off at the bus stops 3 hours earlier in the afternoon.
RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE FUNDRAISER -

 Thank you for taking part in the RMH Fundraiser on February 10 and 17. Beaumont raised $1500 and all the proceeds go directly to the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House. A special thanks to Mrs. McConaghy (Gym Teacher), the HSA Community Service Co-Chairs, Jean Allen, Jen Bacani, Valerie Cheng, and Becky Pitofsky; and all the teachers and parent volunteers for making the event a success and helping us support local families.
YEARBOOK PHOTOS & RETAKES - FEBRUARY 22, MON.
For students, teachers and staff who missed getting their  Yearbook portraits taken, we will have a photo session on Monday, February 22, in the Cafeteria at 8:30am.
• 3rd Grade Orchestra:
We will take Yearbook photos of the 3rd Grade Orchestra on Monday, February 22 (Day 5), at 7:55am. It is important for all 3rd grade string orchestra members to attend this rehearsal. Note: Yearbook photos have already been taken of the 4th grade orchestra.

STEP AFRIKA! AT BES - FEBRUARY 29, MON.
 Step Afrika! will be performing at Beaumont's Assembly on Monday, February 29, 9:00am for Grades K - 2, and 10:00am for Grades 3 - 4. PM Kindergarten and ACP students are invited to attend the morning shows. Step Afrika! will also perform for the community at Radnor Middle School on Friday, March 4 at 7:00pm. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance by visiting www.artsdelta.net or at the show.  Hooray for Minions, which the students voted for, to watch on Friday, March 11. Registration Forms will be sent home this week from the HSA, so be sure to sign up for a fun movie night. HSA MEETING - MARCH 16, WED., 9:15am
They don't come around too often, so mark your calendars for the HSA general meeting on Wednesday, March 16 at 9:15am in the Large Group Room. All Beaumont parents are encouraged to come and find out more about spring plans at Beaumont including an overview on the upcoming PSSA testing.

• Whole Foods Donates 5¢ for every reusable bag to T&E Care - Make sure you mention T&E Care when you check out at Whole Foods in Devon from January 18 - April 17.
• Community Petition to build a SAFE way to walk across Newtown Road to BES - Join other Beaumont families and sign the petition to keep walkers safe as they walk to and from Beaumont.
