As well as the usual policy and information updates, future editions will include more information on what CEE members are up, which will hopefully help with identifying new ways of working, and blogs and opinion pieces from key community energy practitioners.

Current Share Offers
Three CEE members have live share offers. Please circulate details as widely as possible:
- Brighton Energy Coop has launched a community share offer, aiming to raise £1,000,000 for the installation of 1MWp solar PV (minimum) on buildings in the Brighton area. The first installation will be at Park Gate, a residential block on Somerhill Road in Hove. No closing date.
- Bristol Energy Coop is is looking to raise £5m through bonds and a share offer to help finance two community solar farms and solar installations on around 20 community buildings in the Bristol region.
- Southill solar is aiming to raise £3m to develop a 4.5 MW ground-mounted solar farm, reduce energy demand and to invest in other project to reduce the community's carbon emissions. Closing date 8th April
Mongoose Energy and Joju Solar are hiring!
Mongoose Energy are looking to recruit two analysts to help them to build business systems capable of delivering quality services to their clients at a growing scale. Salary £25k - £30k, London location preferred, deadline 4th March.
Joju are looking to hire a part-time Marketing and Communications Manger to be based in Oxford or London. Competitive salary, deadline 7th March

Beyond Paris: how can energy efficiency co-operatives contribute to achieving 2050 targets? Carbon Co-op AGM, 7th April, Manchester
Carbon Co-op's AGM features presentations and Q&A from climate scientist and deputy director of Tyndall Centre, Professor Kevin Anderson, architect and retrofit expert Marianne Heaslip (URBED) and Carbon Co-op's membership development workers Aneaka Kellay (Carbon Co-op). Clean Energy Summit, 26-28 April, Twickenham
This event brings together the drivers of demand for clean energy with the energy industry to discuss opportunities for deployment, decentralised generation and community energy. 193 governments signed a global accord at COP21, much of this being driven by the private sector looking to benefit from energy independence and supply chain resilience in the face of climate change. Clean Energy Summit brings these major energy users together with public sector land and rooftop owners and community energy groups to explore the once-in-a-lifetime opportunities presented by decarbonising the economy.

Fit for the Future? Local Enterprise Partnerships' Climate Ready and Low Carbon Economy Good Practice
Sustainability West Midlands has published a report aimed at those working with Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) at the local and national level to integrate climate adaptation, mitigation and the low carbon economy into the economic strategies and the billion pounds worth of investments over the next five years. The research represents the first national review of all 39 LEPs’ commitments to tackling climate change and embracing the low carbon economy, based on information from their latest key strategies. The report also contains good practice case studies, benchmarking tables, maps and recommendations to those working with LEPs.
DECC’s Heat Networks Delivery Unit (HNDU) publishes its second edition of the Heat Infrastructure Investment Pipeline.
There are currently around 450 heat network opportunities within the HNDU Project Portfolio, with projects ranging in size between small schemes <£2m up to £67m for a large scale geothermal opportunity.
