Innovation Challenge

Think…. how could you make a real difference to research communications? Are you looking for like-minded people, and would a seed fund of $1.5K help kick-start your project? As part of its commitment to collaboration, transparency and innovation, the FORCE16 conference is updating its 1K Challenge session and encourages all delegates (both actual and virtual) to participate.

Participants will create up to a 3 minute video using the Jisc Elevator Pitch Tool (https://elevator.jisc.ac.uk/). We will publicize these video clips to all Force2016 participants and then each team will be able to pitch their idea in-person at the Innovation Session on Tuesday April 19 at 2:30pm. We will conduct live voting during the Innovation Pitch session and will determine up to 2 winners. Each winning individual or team will receive a $1500 (U.S. dollar) cash prize to support seeding or building their idea as well as $2000 (U.S. dollar) in travel funding to bring this developed idea back to the next Force Conference or to another conference chosen by the winner.
