MCIDA Approves Financial Incentives Rama Real Properties Project in the Village of Hagaman

Fonda, NY – The Montgomery County Business Development Center is pleased to announce the recent approval of an adaptive re-use project in the Village of Hagaman by the Montgomery County Industrial Development Agency. Rama Real Properties, LLC. requested financial assistance from the MCIDA in connection with the acquisition and adaptive re-use of the former YMCA property in the Village. The main tenant of the facility will be Home Helpers & Direct Link of Amsterdam which provides home health care services to residents in Montgomery and surrounding Counties. This project will retain 76 full time equivalent employees and will lead to the creation of 6 full time equivalent employees over the next three years.
To help facilitate the development of this project and ensure that Home Helpers & Direct Link of Amsterdam remains in the County, the Montgomery County Industrial Development Agency will be offering financial assistance in the form of sales and mortgage recording tax exemptions along with a Payment in Lieu of Tax Agreement.
