We have a new SDK release to tell you about, we have several projects in our engineering group that we wish to share with you and we launched a new website to make finding out about us much easier.

Announcing Irazu

Irazu is the latest release of RidgeRun's SDK. We have incorporated dozens of patches, updates and new supported SoC's into our latest product. Irazu is the base building block for all new and upcoming RidgeRun products like OpenFD. Irazu is the best streaming media embedded Linux software development tool.

New boards supported

RidgeRun is always adding support for new EVM boards. In the last year we have added support for Xilinks Zynq-7000 Zed board, the Fossilshale DM385 based board and i.MX6 boards and SOMs from Varscite, Boundary devices and the Freescale / NXP EVMs. We are now announcing support for Texas Instruments AM5728 and the SolidRun Hummingboard! GStreamer 1.x is RidgeRun's standard for all new products and releases of GStreamer elements. Interpipes, GSTShark and all new projects will use a current version of GStreamer. Come see to our latest project GSTD (Gstreamer Daemon) just now getting started.

Announcing OpenFD

OpenFD (Open Firmware Deployer) is an open source tool that helps developers to deploy their firmware to a target board in a variety of ways. Most of the steps required to prepare a bootable SD card, flash programming, and other deployment scenarios, can be simplified and automated using OpenFD. It is designed for boards that run U-Boot as their bootloader, Embedded Linux as their kernel component, and requires a GNU/Linux host PC.

GstShark --A new product under development for performance profiling and tuning GStreamer pipelines!

Interpipes 1.0 -- A dramatically more simple was to create custom complex GStreamer pipelines. This is an opensource tool just now being completed.
