What's a Generosity Encounter?
A Generosity Encounter is an interactive experience in which a church gathers its staff and lay leaders to immerse themselves in God’s upside down plan of “full-life†generosity. Generosity is much richer and deeper than we often think about: it’s one important key to spiritual formation given to us and modeled for us by our generous Father. In the Encounter we will explore how to look at generosity in a different way and how to drive it deep into the values of our churches and lives.
Our promise to you who attend this Encounter: it will be one of the most engaging & perhaps challenging experiences you “encounter†this year!
Who should attend? Pastors, pastor staff, lay leaders and SWU staff.
Registration and Cost: We will need to have a count of those who are coming so that we can have adequate lunches and be set up properly. You may contact the district and make reservations.
Also, we will be requesting a $20 donation (lunch included) for those attending. If that is a hardship for anyone, please do not stay away.
Where: Southern Wesleyan University, the Founders
Time: 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
