CLIENTS IN THE NEWS

ED REED HONORED

"Joe Torre of baseball managerial fame, former Ravens safety Ed Reed and Maryland U.S. Senator Barbara Mikulski were recognized by the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation for their efforts on behalf of others at the foundation's 12th Annual Aspire Gala at the Marriott Waterfront Feb. 12. The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation -- named for the late father of former Orioles players Cal and Bill Ripken who himself was a manager and coach for the O's -- does far-reaching work to address issues faced by at-risk youth using sports-themed programs to teach life skills."  Congratulations to our client, Ed Reed and his Eye of the Hurricane Foundation, on this tremendous honor.

MATT STOVER ON THE L.A. RAMS

"Matt Stover said he lost thousands of dollars when he sold his home in Cleveland, and he was far from alone. The Browns -- citing concerns over potential salary cap penalties -- declined to pay realtor fees and closing costs on the houses sold. According to the language of the collective bargaining agreement, teams are only required to pay moving and relocation expenses."  PPF is proud to facilitate Matt's charitable work through the Stover Family Foundation.

CREATE/IMPROVE YOUR CHARITABLE PLATFORM

SERVICES

It is a simple, cost-effective philanthropic solution owned and operated by PPF and advised by our clients - delivering all the benefits of charitable giving. A DAF can have the look and feel of a private family foundation or stand-alone 501(c)(3) without the administrative burden, cost, and fiscal responsibility.  This vehicle is typically best suited for clients that wish to self-fund the charitable account.

FISCAL SPONSORSHIP
PPF can also fiscally sponsor an organization as it grows and/or needs our 501(c)(3) infrastructure to carry out its mission. This allows our clients to seek grants, hold fundraisers, and solicit tax-deductible donations under PPF's exempt status for the benefit of the charitable mission.  This vehicle is typically best suited for clients that wish to use other sources of revenue, besides self-funding, to carry out the charitable project or mission.
