Community diabetes team leads the way with Florence telehealth
NHS Arden & GEM Commissioning Support Unit and Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust will be hoping to win the ‘Innovative Use of Technology’ category at the Patient Experience Network (PEN) National Awards later this week, for their project to extend the use of Florence telehealth among diabetes patients in Derbyshire.

Assurance support for local transformation plans
As part of its plan to allocate additional funds to transform mental health and eating disorder services for young people, NHS England appointed NHS Arden & GEM CSU to provide assurance support across the Midlands and East region. The CSU’s transformation team designed, planned and facilitated a three month process that successfully assured 24 local transformation plans put forward by more than 60 Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs).
