Kathmandu Valley Rim (North)
"Rise above the smog by running on top of the valley rim," is the long motto of this race. Route still to be adjusted to satisfy the bureaucracy, but always a very enjoyable run. Website.

Stupa to Stupa
The only race in the world starting at a Buddhist stupa temple infested by battling monkey tribes and ending a monkey-free Buddhist stupa, one of Nepal's largest, which is being repaired after the earthquake. Three other temples are met along the tree lined route. Website.

Annapurna 100

ABC to Pokhara
A high quality starting location and a lot of leg compression - that's the Annapurna Base Camp to Pokhara race. Try this after Annapurna 50km the weekend before! Website.

Kathmandu Ultra
50 and 80km around the hills of Kathmandu with the entire local trail running community out in force! Here's Mira on one of her training routes in the Shivapuri National Park where the race will run. Date to be finalised - probably 10th or 17th December. Website.
