HSB Events Galore
We hope you have time to attend one or more of the following upcoming HSB events
:
Harry Potter House Challenge
HSB is hosting a Harry Potter House Challenge! Students who are interested in participating will be sorted into a Harry Potter House, and Houses will earn points for each member in attendance at HSB events throughout the year. The winning Harry Potter House will have a Harry Potter themed party hosted for them at the end of the year. More information about this will shared at the upcoming Sorting event.
On
Monday, February 15th at 7pm, we will hold a Sorting event in Jischke, where all attendees will be sorted into Harry Potter Houses. Immediately following the Sorting, there will be a trivia game, including both Harry Potter and real life trivia, for the first chance to earn points! We hope to see you all there.
If you cannot attend the Sorting event, but still want to participate in the Harry Potter Challenge, please email
wwhammel@iastate.edu, and we will make sure you are sorted into a House!
ISU vs. Baylor Gamewatch
HSB will be hosting a watch party this
Tuesday, February 16th to cheer on our beloved Iowa State men’s basketball team as they face the Baylor Bears in Waco, Texas! The game tips off at 8:00 PM and the party will be located in the projector room of
Jischke (1151 and 1155) with doors opening at 7:30. During TV timeouts food and drink will be available and we will be handing out prizes to those who can correctly answer some Cyclone basketball trivia. Make sure you come early to grab some seats up close! (camping out is optional)

Join Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity
"Phi Sigma Pi is a gender-inclusive National Honor Fraternity. We are all serious about our academics, so there is a wide variety of interests and personalities that make us unique. We get along great, are like a little family, and we remember each other’s names. You may not get that from other clubs on campus. The small size of the chapter is appealing because it is hard to meet people, but large groups can get overwhelming. We love having social events like board game nights, dinners, barbeques, and we have had a camping trip, which we are going to do in April. We have done service events like making dog toys for local animal shelters, made blankets for Project Linus. Phi Sigma Pi is a network of students from all different backgrounds wanting to better the environment around them. Fellowship, Scholarship and Leadership is our focus of our meetings where we share many smiles and laughs. So join Phi Sigma Pi!"
Phi Sigma Pi is accepting new members this semester until
February 28. Interested in joining? Contact Erika at one of the following:
