L’événement est de style cabaret, avec unComic Jam et Drink & Draw ouvert à tous et à toutes, animé en partie par les Jammers et Doodlers spéciaux! Présent seront des stars du communauté BD indie et émergente de Montréal, incluant: Jose Holder, Rupert Bottenberg, Carlos Santos, Eric Theriault, Chantal Fournier, Jai Granofsky,Siris La Poule, Raphaele Bard, Liam Matthew Byrne, Vincent Giard, Cheryl Voisine, Caro Caron, et Rick Trembles!

Il y aura du matériel disponible pour que tous puissent s’y joindre. L’organisateur recommende que vous apportez votre matériel favori si vous en possédez. Pour tous ceux qui participent pour la première fois, des instructions de base seront fournis sur comment de déroule un ≪Comic Jam≫ à 18h30, et un dépliant sera aussi disponible: artistes et fans de tous niveaux et habiletés sont invités à s’y joindre. 

Il y aura aussi une table de marchandise portant les produits des invités et artistes spéciaux. À 20h00, il y aura 2 tables rondes sur la scène principale.

Le deuxième–La mémoire, le mémoir
et le monde du fictif

Syn Studio, Pow Pow press, et Salgood Sam vous invite à une soirée remplie de dessinage, de networking et d’apprentissage, tout ce dans un environnement décontracté. Le Salon permettra aux BDistes et passionés de se rencontrer, de s’épanouir, tout en avance de la saison festivale.

The evening will be a cabaret setting, with an open Comic Jam and Drink & Draw, in part facilitated by Featured Artists in attendance! Rock stars of the Montreal indie and underground cartoonists community.

RSVPs confirmed for Jose Holder, Rupert Bottenberg, Carlos Santos, Eric Theriault, Chantal Fournier, Jai Granofsky,Siris La Poule, Raphaele Bard, Liam Matthew Byrne, Vincent Giard, Cheryl Voisine, Caro Caron, & Rick Trembles!

Paper and pencils will be made available for anyone to jump in. Your host recommends you bring your own favourite pens and drawing implements too if you have them! For those new to jamming, some basic instruction will be provided on the nuts and bolts of comics and a Comic Jam at 6:30pm, and in the form of flyers. Artists or fans of cartoons at any skill level are invited to come join in, and pick up some cool comics too: a merchandise table will feature books and zines by the night’s guests and featured artists. 

The main stage will host 2 round table talks at 8pm.
One on: “Publishing: ‘Self” and the future of”.
The other: “Memory, Memoir, and Fictional invention”.
The round tables will be hosted Salgood Sam, with Guest Artists Meags Fitzgerald, Patrick McEown, Jimmy Beaulieu, Julie Delporte, CAB, & Lateef Martin!
