New Year, New Adventures!

What an amazing first month of itineration this has been! First of all, we would like to say “Thank you” to all our family and friends who helped us get off the ground and going! Without your prayers and support, we would not even have been able to start this new adventure. We are so grateful!
To the churches we’ve had the pleasure of visiting, thank you for opening your hearts and doors to us. Every single service we have been to, we have been welcomed with smiles, encouragement and love.

Itineration

This past month, we have been traveling mainly in and around North Florida, with a few exceptions. Dan has spent his weekdays contacting and meeting with pastors, attending ministers’ meetings, putting together promotional materials and traveling to out-of-town mid-week services. Abigail has continued to teach kindergarten during the week, and she and Aidan travel with Dan on the weekends.

Where We Are At

As of the end of January we have met 11% of our monthly financial support. This is such an exciting milestone! We are one, very tangible step closer to being able to start ministering to the Slovenian people.

Sharing Hope For Slovenia

Dan has been able to speak to the congregations we’ve visited about the struggles Slovenia faces – Slovenia - although a beautiful and seemingly prosperous country – is 10^th in the world in alcoholism, and is ranked 5^th in the world in suicide. Less than 0.5% of the population is evangelical Christian. All of these numbers and stats add up to Slovenia being one of the most unreached countries in Europe. They desperately need Christ’s hope. The churches we have visited have been touched by this message, and the outpouring of love and support has been humbling.
