Increase in student numbers for 2016
FedUni has proudly announced over 2,000 offers for undergraduate programs
University vice-chancellor Professor David Battersby said FedUni was delighted to increase its number of offers.
“We are very thankful for this level of support. Other students should also be aware that they still can change their VTAC preference to FedUni over the next few weeks if they wish to pursue study here,” Professor Battersby said.
The most popular discipline areas offered in the second round have been Education; Nursing; Arts; Business/Commerce; Health; Veterinary and Wildlife Science and Sports Science.

Industry placement provides real career experience
The Industry Placement Program (IPP) gives students valuable workplace experience during their studies. Students can apply the knowledge they've learnt in the classroom into the real world, while developing hands-on skills that are highly sought after by employers.
Students participating in the program undertake a placement of up to 26 weeks with an employer in the same field as their studies.
To help offset the costs involved in balancing study and placement, IPP students receive an organisational-funded scholarship payment of up to $15,000.
IPP also prepares students for their placement with a comprehensive professional development program, with industry sponsors actively involved. Sessions include workshops, career planning and practice job interviews.

Secondary teaching doubles opportunities
Studying a double degree in Education is the ideal way to add depth and diversity to your future career.
Choose from arts, mathematics, science, community and human services or visual arts and combine your specialisation with a strong foundation in education studies.
In addition to gaining a VCE-level teaching qualification, graduates will have the flexibility to move into other learning environments or alternative fields.

Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences/Bachelor of Education
Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Education
Bachelor of Visual Arts/Bachelor of Education

All programs are available at our Mt Helen Campus in Ballarat, and the
Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education is available at our Gippsland Campus in Churchill.
