The Wolf is Minnesota’s Lion – It’s Up to Us to Protect Them
From the wolves of the Great Lakes to the lions of Africa, our most iconic and important species are being killed for sport. It’s up to us to make it clear that they are not trophies, but rather treasures that need our protection.
In 2015 we stood up against attacks on federal wolf protections and the Endangered Species Act. This year we have an opportunity to save wolves from traps and snares and to repeal the wolf hunting and trapping season. We need your help to do it.
Join us at Wolf Day 2016 to help us make our voices heard at the state Capitol and to convince our lawmakers to pass wolf-protecting bills.

What: Wolf Day 2016 at the Capitol
Cost: Free to register (T-shirt included)
When: March 23, 2016
Where: Cedar Street Armory, 600 Cedar Street, Saint Paul, Minnesota 55101
Schedule:
9:30 AM – Doors open
9:45 AM – Check in, refreshments (advance registration required for official check in)
10:15 AM – Wolf Day 2016 kickoff
11:15 AM – Meetings with legislators*
4:00 – Conclusion of Wolf Day 2016 (informal)
*State Office Building and State Senate Building
Other Details:
A shuttle will be provided to transport supporters from the Armory to the State and Senate office buildings. A shuttle from Duluth is available too.
Rooms 300N and 300S in the State Office Building are reserved for Howling for Wolves to rest, recharge, and connect between legislative meetings.
