S/Y VINTAGE
is for sailors and historians who appreciate a bygone era....
90' Classic Neriads Cutter, 2008/2015
Built in 2008 and refitted in 2015, the 90’ classic sloop, VINTAGE, is a superb, modern classic with sweet lines, drawn by Julius Strawinsk, the same designer as ALEXA OF LONDON. Built of rugged aluminum with a wood interior, huge attention has been paid to producing a light yacht with expressive sailing performance. Her owners have been heavily involved in the development and build of the yacht, based on many years of sailing. Her interior is ultra-modern and is a pleasant contrast with her classic hull lines.
On deck the yacht has flush teak decks, a carbon fiber rig, and center cockpit under a bimini, comfortable for six to eight people with two dining tables. There are deck awnings, deck mattresses, deck shower, and a deck saloon (pilot house) with navigation station and quarter berth. The yacht has two compartments, fore and aft of the pilot house. The master cabin is aft of the pilot house, and the main saloon, galley, and three additional guest cabins are located forward of pilot house. The galley and Nanny's cabin are located aft of the forward compartment, and two, identical, guest cabins, each with double berth, are located forward. They share a stall shower but each has a WC.
The lower saloon has coconut fiber mast casing, brown wood floors, comfortable lounge to port and dinette to starboard. The galley has lots of stainless steel refrigeration. Indeed, VINTAGE is designed for sailing and staying at anchor, because there is lots of freezer space, as well as a watermaker, and the yacht consumes very little fuel. She also has a laundry room.
32 year old, handsome, French captain, Manu Lize, speaks English well, and he is assisted by two girls, a chef and stewardess from England and Slovenia respectively, both of whom are accomplished sailors.
VINTAGE I is available in the Caribbean through April 2016. She is available from Montenegro from June 1st, Portofino from September 1st, 2016, and San Tropez from October 1st (looks like she's going to compete in the yacht races there). She will return to the Caribbean by December 1st, 2016. The yacht is ideal for sailors and anybody who enjoys classic sleek lines to look at and classic yachts of a bygone era.
