The Value of Teaching

Whenever guest speakers come into my classroom at Metropolitan State University, they talk about their career paths, current job responsibilities and share lessons learned along the way. As you might imagine, they also stress the usual skills that are central to success in public relations: writing, research, planning, business literacy, being media savvy, and problem solving.

The mission of the Minnesota PRSA Perspectives blog is to provide content that engages individuals across all experience levels from PR students to professionals in agency, nonprofit, government or corporate settings and to celebrate the chapter's activities and members. 
 
Submissions are welcome from PRSA members (and program presenters). Must be non-commercial in nature. Original content is encouraged but the blog will accept previously published material with attribution. Minnesota PRSA reserves the right to reject any contributed content
