Dear <<First Name>>,
 I trust you have had a good week and that the Lord has led you gently through the ups and downs that have come your way. This week I read Isaiah 55. The first verse reminded me of our shared meal this Sunday.
All of you who are thirsty, come to the water!
Whoever has no money, come, buy food and eat!
Isaiah 55:1, CEB
It is easy to think of our monthly shared meal as simply a potluck, but I believe that there is something special that happens when we sit down and enjoy a meal together. We are nourished, body, soul, and spirit!
The rest of Isaiah 55 reminds us that God's faithfulness and lovingkindness are as free as the opening offer to those who are thirsty. The only thing we need to do is come to the Lord, any time, any place, with an openness to receive all that God has waiting for us.
I pray that sometime this weekend you would make the time and space to have a "dinner" date with Jesus (or breakfast or lunch) and exchange your openness for his nourishment. His calendar is wide open in anticipation for you to call.

 VLC Fellowship Sunday
This Sunday, February 28, we will be having a shared meal after our worship gathering. Please bring a side dish, salad, dessert, or finger food to share.
The theme for February's shared meal is Italian!
There is so much more to Italian food than just spaghetti and lasagna. I look forward to the variety of dishes we can come up with.

Gio & Lei Serrato will be gathering with the middle & high schoolers during our worship gathering this Sunday, February 28, in Room 20.
They will be exploring the theme of our love for God and one another.

Neighborhood Family Festival (AKA: Community Festival/RezFez)
Our festival is just around the corner! On Easter Saturday, from 12–4pm, we invite our neighbors to have a party with us in the field at VLC. Click here to see the front and back of our Easter mailer going out soon to our neighbors. This annual event is our way of sharing the love of Jesus with the community. Kids' Club – We are looking for Kids' Club teachers.
Zumba Exercise Class – Tuesdays at 5pm, VLC Auditorium
Spanish Lessons with Maria Gonzalez on Sundays at 12:30pm in the Conference Room following the VLC Worship Gathering. Classes are one hour long. There is no charge for the class, but donations are appreciated. All are welcome to attend!
