A Message from Lori Rhoden

Dear IMTA friends,

I am writing to ask for your support in the MTNA division elections. When MTNA approached me last summer about accepting this nomination as East Central Division Director, I was pleasantly surprised to receive this opportunity. I talked with Karen Thickstun about this position, and after our conversation I felt that it would be a position in which I could effectively serve. As IMTA president, I enjoyed getting to know so many of the wonderful IMTA and MTNA teachers, and I really appreciated learning more about what other people were doing to further music teaching in their areas. This position would allow me to connect with an even broader MTNA audience.

Indiana has a smaller number of members than most of the other states in our division, but we have a great record of getting the vote out for our IMTA members and being successful in our efforts. I would greatly appreciate your support and if I am elected, I look forward to serving our East Central Division and MTNA.
