News and views from across the movement

More than 40 men and women collectively walk across the beach and enter the water on a chilly February day at Barry Island. Locals and visitors are bemused, but this is actually no one off. Tredergarville Baptist Church in Cardiff is seeing a real openness to the Christian faith among the asylum seekers and refugees it is encountering, particularly people from Iran, and this was the second mass baptism in a month.

A number of Baptist churches are reporting similar developments - and a refugee response day has now been organised, where Baptists are invited to come together for a day of listening, learning and prayer. Full details here.
