Ready to Make Waves to End Drowning?

Register Now at Early Bird Conference Rate

Think you know everything about water safety? Wave and current science? Speaking to the media? Beach signage and rescue equipment? Handing out Water Watcher cards? You will if you attend one of these events.

The new Great Lakes Water Safety Consortium invites you to its inaugural conferences. You'll hear from experts, interact with colleagues, share best practices, and accelerate our collective efforts to end drowning in the Great Lakes.
For those in the east, we're holding a day-long event in Cleveland, Ohio on April 19, and another in Grand Haven, Michigan on April 22 for those to the west. As GLWSC members, you get first dibs on the early bird discount rate of only $39.
On behalf of the Great Lakes Water Safety Consortium and the Conference Planning Committee, I am thrilled to invite you to our first Water Safety Conferences.

Whether you're a first responder, park ranger, community leader, scientist, media professional, survivor, loved one, or otherwise interested in avoiding, escaping, and safely saving others from dangerous currents, this is the event for you.
We 're still building the agenda and booking top-notch presenters, but we already know this will be an amazing experience for all attendees. At only $39 for the entire day of informative, innovative, and interactive sessions, we expect both venues to fill pretty fast, so be sure and reserve your spot today.

If you'd be traveling more than 100 miles one way but are hesitant to register due to travel expenses, we have a small fund set aside to help. If you'd like to be considered for mileage reimbursement, have suggestions for additional presenters (including yourself), or a question about the conferences, feel free to contact me.

I want to thank Clarence Fullard, Megan Dodson, and the rest of the committee for their efforts so far. And, I want to thank you for all you do and will do to end drowning in the Great Lakes.

P.S. Please share this invitation with colleagues, friends, media contacts, vendors, and anyone else who won't want to miss one of these important events.
The mission of the Great Lakes Water Safety Consortium is to connect all groups and individuals interested in water safety to maximize our collective knowledge, resources, and actions to end drownings in the Great Lakes.
