75' Privilege Catamaran Sloop, 2006
The 75' Privilege catamaran, MATAU, has always been one of our favorite catamarans, because she has a super large aft cockpit, and her galley is not in the saloon, creating an elegant, spacious saloon with lounge and bar with stools to port and dining area to starboard. She also has a professional crew of four, kite surfers and scuba divers alike, who consider working on MATAU their dream job. Stationed in the South Pacific for three years now, 34-year old, American captain Marques Hall prides himself on giving guests the best trip of their lives. Whether you are looking for hidden snorkel or dive spots, secluded beaches, isolated anchorages, the perfect wave, heavy winds or a good party every night, Marques will pull out all the stops to give you the perfect charter experience.
MATAU has accommodation for eight in one king and three queen en suite cabins. Exceptional is the word for the king-bedded master stateroom with ensuite bathroom as large as the guest cabins and the luxury of a full-size Jacuzzi tub.
There are many places to sit on deck – the trampolines, the aft deck, the fly bridge, the “teak beach" and broad steps aft with easy water access – that everyone will find their own favorite spot.
MATAU tows a 16 foot Walker Bay tender with 70 hp outboard and offers snorkeling, tubing, water skiing, scuba diving & instruction, Towing ring, Boogie boarding, and Kite boarding to guests. Wifi is throughout the yacht but does draw off 'hotspots' onshore within a 5 mile range.
