On Valentine's Day 2016, Drew and Sarah Whitmey made Jesus their Lord and were baptized in the Choctawhatchee River. Drew and Sarah have been coming to the Enterprise House Church.
Drew, a.k.a. Captain Andrew D. Whitmey, is a 2011 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy. He has been an Instructor Pilot for the UH-1N Huey with the 23rd Flying Training Squadron at Fort Rucker, Alabama.
Sarah is a trained Digital Artist and Designer. She was also an award-winning Junior Showmanship Dog Handler. She now devotes her time as a full-time homemaker and mother to their two-year-old son, Zachary.
Recently, Drew was handpicked to fly the CV-22 Osprey, a versatile aircraft used mostly for special search-and-rescue operations. He and Sarah will move to McCutcheon Field in North Carolina this spring, then on to Kirkland Air Force Base in New Mexico to start Drew's intensive training on the aircraft.
Drew and Sarah both hail from the Golden Coast of California (Drew from Dana Point and Sarah from Carmel). They have been married for almost five years and are so excited to embark on this new life as disciples of Christ.
There are now thirteen campus students who are planning to go to the 2016 Alpha-Omega Campus Retreat at the Ocoee Retreat Center in Tennessee! Grace Tracy was promoted to sergeant on February 12 at Fort Benning. As a part of the ceremony, Grace elected to rappel from a tower. Then she read Colossians 3:23 to the soldiers who were watching, and talked about how she wanted to fulfill God's purpose for her life. Way to go, Grace!
