Dear family and friends,

Spring is just starting to appear here, and now I'm going back to remember a bit of our winter.

December was quiet at first, full of Advent and other preparations for the Christmas season. "First Christmas" on December 25th kicked off the busyness and celebrations. We enjoyed special church services, plays, concerts, orphanage programs, and more. The picture above is from a beautiful evening at church; our girls are little dots up on the stage. Will translates/writes/publishes Agape updates on two FB pages: English and Russian. So, he stayed pretty busy trying to keep the news going out as to what Agape ministry teams were doing over the holidays. In a period of two weeks, 16 ministry teams took Christmas outreach programs to children in 95 orphanages spread across 16 regions of our country.

January continued the Christmas and other holiday celebrations here. Jaan and Raia got to visit the orphanage with me a few times for special programs, and they were very happy to see their friends there. Then school started back up. Everyone got back into the usual routine of studies and work. Toward the end of the month, I went to Kyiv for another session of the Agape school. (The photo here is of the teacher and me.)

February was mostly good daily routine: Will at the office, and homeschool, music school, art school for the rest of us, with orphanage visits every Saturday. It was actually really nice to be back to regular life after all the busy times in the two previous months.

Thank you all so much for your prayers and support of us. We would love to hear from you, too. Please write!

With love and prayers from,
Will and Phyllis Hunsucker
with Jaan, Raia, Asya, and Bogdan

Praise God:
  • That our residency documents are renewed for another year. This was the easiest renewal ever!
  • For a wonderful holiday season.
Please pray:
  • For health. It seems like we've been sick more than usual this winter, and many others have suffered from a flu epidemic in Ukraine, too.
  • For Jaan and Raia. They will be playing a duet at a national music competition March 13. They're a little nervous.
  • For keeping on keeping on with office work (Will) and orphanage visits (Phyllis).
  • For me (Phyllis) at the next session of the Agape school March 28-April 1 and Will at home with the rest of our family then.
