Global BRIDGE Leaders Action Program (GBLAP)

This is a newly launched program in collaboration with the UN-Habitat office in Fukuoka. The objectives of this program are to:
  1. Instill CARe qualities and develop Global BRIDGE Leaders
  2. Take actions to achieve one of the eight United Nation Millennium Development Goals after observing actual UN-Habitat projects
  3. Create new campaigns in Japan using their experiences in Sri Lanka
This nine-month program focuses on nurturing Japanese high school students into Global BRIDGE Leaders through various training sessions and activities, as well as a study tour in Sri Lanka in March. The GBLAP participants will explore the country's UN-Habitat projects and also plan an activity with school students in Colombo.
