On March 10, 2016, SystemX will open its doors for the 3rd edition of its annual event, Future@SystemX!

BFM Business

On March 1st, 2016, SystemX was invited on BFM Business TV Show "Les Décodeurs de l'Eco" to talk about the Google autonomous car recently being at fault in an accident. Paul Labrogere, Autonomous Transport Program Director, talked on this topic on behalf of SystemX.

 
 
 

Smart Territories seminar

The Smart Territories Program team gathered for its annual seminar on February 10, 2016, at the premises of PROTO 204. On the agenda: a design thinking session in which teams imagined the smart city of 2025, and discussions about the SystemX thematic platforms.

 
 
 

Krono-Safe@SystemX

On January 18, 2016, SystemX and Krono-Safe organized the kick-off of their new common laboratory, “Krono-Safe@SystemX”. The primary goal of this partnership is to strengthen research on real-time operating systems and formal methods.

 
 
 

First 2016 R&D Steering Committee meeting 

The SystemX R&D Steering Committee met on February 4, 2016. The meeting was conducted by François Stephan, SystemX Development & International Director, in the presence of representatives of R&D industrial and academic members. OpenTrust changes its name to IDnomic, a new name for the front-runner in digital identities and the security of connected objects. “IDnomic is a very powerful name with strong impact, positioning the human being and the protection of his digital identities at the heart of our strategy“, states Coralie Héritier, IDnomic CEO.

 
 
 

Open Wide become a Smile Group Company

HCU project

The Anthropolis chair, jointly operated by SystemX and CentraleSupélec, is investigating user centered eco-innovations in the context of urban mobility systems and their interactions with other urban systems. The main research area of the chair will be novel mobility services in the context of multi-modal hubs involving eco-efficient modes of transport.

 
 
 

ARE project

The ARE project team participated in the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona, from 22 to 25 January 2016. The team presented the ARE project demo on “Information-Centric Networking” at the CISCO stand. 

 
 
 

EIC project

Philippe Wolf, EIC project manager, presented the SystemX Environment for Cybersecurity Interoperability and Integration (EIC) project and the Cybersecurity Hardening Environment for Systems of Systems (CHESS) platform at two events focused on cybersecurity: 
• The WISG 2016, an interdisciplinary workshop on overall security, which held at the University of Technologies of Troyes, on 10 and 11 February 2016. 
• The Cap’Tronic technical seminar in Toulouse on February 18, 2016.

 
 
 

OAR project

Renault and Alstom are now adherents of the OAR (OpenAltaRica) project. They will bring their feedback on the use of the OpenAltaRica software to the project.

 
 
 

ISE project

 

ASPROM organized a seminar: “From connected vehicle to autonomous vehicle: technologies, challenges and applications”, in partnership with Cap’Tronic and the French Union for the Metallurgical Industry. It took place on 10 and 11 January 2016. Paul Labrogere, SystemX “Autonomous Transport” and “Internet of Trust” Programs Director, presented the ITS Security (ISE) project researches.
