February is back to school month in Panamá so we decided to partner with some missionary friends, Bill & Gina Brick and our local church Boquete Bible Fellowship to host a back to school party and giveaway of school supplies. Each child received school supplies and uniforms where needed.

Bill & Gina Brick hosted the event at their local park where they do weekly events to serve the families in their neighborhood, and present the love of Christ to them. They are doing a marvelous job revitalizing their part of town, and we were proud to come alongside them

Many children here do not go to school
because they have to wear uniforms and have certain supplies which are too expensive for their families. All of the supplies that you see here were donated and we researched in advance to find the most needy families that needed our help.

|
Once the hard work was done, we threw a party doing our best to mix in some Panamanian style. Jesus talked about celebration parties so we figured that is what He would do. We had a little over 100 people there and it was a real treat to see the joy and genuine gratitude in these families.
