DVMTA Street Piano Video Contest Details Inside!

Dear DVMTA Teachers,
DVMTA is excited to announce this social media video contest in conjunction with the Mesa Arts Center Street Pianos exhibit! Please encourage your students to get out and play these pianos. By participating in this contest, you and your students will help boost social media exposure for DVMTA, encouraging more teachers and students to participate in the organization.

There will be a total of $150 in cash prizes, and we are also working on additional prize donations from local businesses. If you know a business that might want to donate a gift certificate or other prize, please let us know. Additional information on donations can be found on the downloadable flyer linked below.

Calling all DVMTA students!

In conjunction with the Mesa Arts Center Street Pianos exhibit, DVMTA is sponsoring a video contest for all DVMTA students! We want to see you play these beautiful pianos, and have a chance to win some amazing prizes in the process! Prizes include a $50 grand prize, $150 in total cash prizes and other fun prizes, too!

To enter, post a video of yourself (or your child) playing one of the street pianos and share it with us on one of the following social media platforms. There will be weekly prizes starting March 19th and the grand prizes will be awarded after April 9th. **contest open to DVMTA teachers and students only***

How to enter on Facebook:

1 - Like the DVMTA Facebook page and the contest post

2- Post a video of you playing one of the street pianos. Tag Desert Valley Music Teachers Association and use the hashtag #DVMTAontheStreet. Tag your DVMTA teacher (or include their name in your post).

3-Comment on the contest post with a LINK to your video. Videos should be PUBLIC so that we can see! Once you post to your facebook page, click the timestamp and simply copy the URL and paste it into the comments of the contest post to enter.

4-Encourage your friends to like & comment on your video entry on the contest post. (Some prizes will be awarded for most likes & comments, other prizes will be random drawings).

Share the contest post on your personal Facebook page (10 additional points)

Share your video on the Street Pianos website, and mention DVMTA and #DVMTAontheStreet in your comments.

How to enter via Instagram:

1 - Follow @DVMTA on instagram and like the contest post.

2- Post a video of you playing one of the street pianos. Tag @DVMTA and use the hashtag #DVMTAontheStreet. Tag your DVMTA teacher (or include their name in your post).

3- Comment on the Contest Post that you have entered so we can find your video. (Public videos are best, but if your account is private be sure to allow @dvmta to follow you so we can see your post).

4- encourage your friends to like and comment on your post! (Some prizes will be awarded for most likes & comments, others prizes will be random drawing).
