All Village Meeting
Saturday, March 12
10:00 a.m. – noon
Elsie Stuhr Center – Willow Room
Mark you calendar, and come next Saturday. It's our first All Village Meeting. Come reconnect with people you may not have seen in a few months and meet those who have joined us since the last Planning Group.

On the agenda are topics such as Viva Village Membership (the types, the process, the services, the fees), reimbursement guidelines.
What do you want to talk about? We welcome your questions, feedback and ideas. Let us know ahead of time so we can be sure there's time on the agenda. Send an email to VivaVillageOR@gmail.com. Thank you for the input we've already received.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Viva Village Volunteers
Thank you… and a Reminder:
Thank you to those of you who have already sent in names of Beaverton area businesses we can approach to help support Viva Village. Your input is so valuable!
More suggestions are needed, though, So send us your ideas of Beaverton area business owners or managers with whom we can form a connection. Having an established contact (you) is a huge help in building rapport so we help them identify how Viva Village is an asset to their business and ways their business can help Viva Village.

Two Business-Related Opportunities:
1) Are you good at organizing? We need someone to help in keeping track of our business contacts.
2) Also needed are people to join in our business outreach effort by sharing in weekly contact with the Beaverton Chamber of Commerce and other local business associations.
To offer your help, please email Rae Coleman at VivaVillageOR+RaeColeman@gmail.com.

Help Needed for an Upcoming Event:
Gardening Event: Volunteers are needed on Saturday, March 19 to set up before and clean up after the program. (There are heavy benches that will need to be rearranged.) Also needed are people to welcome guests, bring food, and help with signing people in.
To volunteer, please email VivaVillageEvents@gmail.com.

Tech-Related Opportunity:
Microsoft OneDrive is a useful tool, though sometime it seems to have a mind of its own. We need someone who can answer our questions and teach a small group of us the in's and out's.

This Past Week:
Nature Walk at
Lowami Hart Woods
This Saturday, several Viva Villagers took a chance on the damp weather and met for a relaxed walk through Lowami Hart Woods. Highlights of the walk: bird songs, sunlight through the trees, early flowering shrubs, an interesting variety of toadstools along the path, and most importantly, a chance to enjoy nature with good friends.
Thank you to Bonnie Barksdale for finding these nature trail gems in our area and arranging these monthly walks.
Thank you to Yongkie Hurd for the wonderful photograph of South Johnson Creek (above right), and to Gerry Barksdale for the photo of the Villagers on the trail (left)!
