T1DE is excited to announce that we are proving "matching" scholarships for health coaching sessions that begin on March 28th! We have been working with a wonderful coach who is local to the area. Dorothy conducts her coaching program online and she provides a wide range of coaching expertise. The scholarships are available to anyone 18 years or older that has Type 1 diabetes and lives in our general service area centered in Lynchburg, VA. Dorothy Booth is an associate certified diabetes educator, Primal Blueprint Expert, NASM certified personal trainer and a thriving type 1 diabetic of 20 years. Her mission is to help other diabetics understand how nutrition and fitness impact their diabetes control so that they can live life to the fullest even with a chronic illness. She provides virtual group coaching where individuals learn how to change their lifestyle for optimal health.
