Top Colorado Outdoor Attractions, Local Events, Market Update and a Personal Recommendation
Dear <<First Name>>,

We hope this newsletter will find you in good health enjoying the beautiful weather we are so lucky to have here in Colorado.
The market continues to be strong with sellers having no problem at all selling their homes and buyers struggling to be able to secure a home because of the strong competition in this very low inventory period. It is interesting to note the results of a study by the National Association of home builders who are continuously following the trends and adapting to buyers requests. These results are of particular interest to homeowners or future sellers planning to remodel or just spruce up their property.

"Millenials (born after 1984) are very interested in outdoor living so a nice patio, small yard, and an open feeling inside with no walls between the kitchen, dining area and great room. They want both a shower and tub in the master bedroom, ceiling fans in every room, hardwoods on the main floor and energy star rated appliances. For Generation X'ers (born 1965-1983) energy star rating for the entire home and windows, hardwoods on the main floor, several ceiling fans are all "must have" features.
Baby boomers (born 1946-1964) and Seniors (Born 1945 or earlier) really value a full bath on the main floor, insulation higher than required by code, exterior lighting, laundry room on the main floor, energy star rated windows, hardwoods on the main floor and a table space for eating in the kitchen."

If remodeling and upgrading, it would sound like a great idea to add insulation, replace older windows and add ceiling fans, outdoor lighting, remove carpeting and install hardwood flooring (or even laminate which are available in shades and styles that resemble hardwoods).
There is also a trend to minimize and re-organize the home in part because with all the websites and computer capabilities there is now no need for certain books, files and paper records that occupy so much space.

Let us know if you would like for one or both of us to come, look at your home and advise you on what possible changes would help you get your home more desirable if you want to sell it in the future.

Do not hesitate to give us a call if you or any of your friends need any help in Real Estate.

Take Care,
Anne & Jessica Cucchi

Personal Recommendation:
What would you do with an extra 14 days a year?

According to Newsweek, the average American wastes 55 minutes a day looking for things they own and can’t find. That equates to 14 days a year. Time that could otherwise be spent making precious family memories, reading a good book, or catching up with friends, is spent in frustration and stress.
