Awards for our recycling!
We have received the figures from our recycling in every building across 2015. At The Werks, we saved the equivalent to 28 trees, at West Werks we saved 31 trees, Werks Central we saved 49 trees and at Pier Werks we saved 50 trees. Thank you all for helping us to achieve these impressive statistics and therefore keeping The Werks Group green.

As always, there is plenty going on over at Coachwerks throughout the month. Coachwerks is based at 19 Hollingdean Terrace, Brighton, BN1 7HB. - Saturday 2nd, 16th and 30th - Life Drawing Class 11am to 1pm
- Wednesday 6th - Handlebar bike night 7pm to 10pm
- Sunday 10th - Sunday Swapshop 2pm to 5pm - this month it is Outdoor gear.
- A friend of ours is driving to Calais with a car full of torches, rucksacks, sleeping bags, tents etc. If you have any you wish to donate, please bring to Sunday Swapshop.

- Saturday 23rd - 7pm to 11pm psychedelic/electronic music from New Zealand and Brighton - £3 on the door.
- Saturday 23rd - Coachwerks Open Day from 3pm to 7pm - new collection of artist’s work on display, scrumptious Hail Seitan Vegan food, finely brewed vegan beer by Bartleby’s, face painting, Angel’s Art gallery, 3D printing, live music, competitions, an auction to raise money for the kitchen at Calais & more.

The UK's top and leading electronic music conference, Brighton Music Conference has confirmed its 2016 two-day event will take place at the Brighton Dome on Thursday 14th & Friday 15th April 2016. After 2 successful years, they are aiming for a 3rd.

17th April
The Brighton Marathon is one of the UK's favourite runs. With a stunning backdrop of the sea in one of the country's most vibrant cities, the race gets bigger and better every year. Go along and soak up the great atmosphere as well as cheering on any friends and family taking part.

30th April - 2nd May
Foodies Festival, the UK's biggest and best celebration of food and drink, returns to Brighton for a 7th time on May Bank Holiday feast on Hove Lawns on the 30th April and the 1st & 2nd of May. Brighton's food-lovers can look forward to a taste-bud-tickling Bank Holiday this summer.

Brighton joint 4th in the rankings of entrepreneurial cities
Using research derived from Companies House data, Instant Offices have put together a leader board for the most entrepreneurial cities in the nation by mapping out the UK's start up landscape over the last 2 years and comparing it to the size of each city. Brighton, together with Glasgow finished 4th behind Liverpool, Birmingham and Manchester.

Brighton had a good month in March and sit 2nd in the English Championship going into April. Starting the month of with back to back 0-0 draws away to Preston North End and at home to Sheffield Wednesday, Brighton got a good 1-0 win at home to Reading. They then went to Milton Keynes Dons and came away with a 2-1 win.

The Emirates FA Cup semi finals take place this month across 2 days. On the 23rd, Everton host either Man United or West Ham and on the 24th, Crystal Palace play Watford at home.

The Masters tournament takes place each year in Augusta, Georgia, USA. This year, it is being held between the 4th and the 11 of April. Who will walk away the winner in 2016?
