New series on SALVATION begins this Sunday

Definition of SALVATION = healing of the whole person

Pastor Jeff would like to encourage everyone to invite someone to "The TEST" this weekend, as it has a strong salvation message. Remember many people need to hear the gospel several times before making the decision to follow Jesus.

We also have several great opportunities planned around Easter to invite people to: Easter Egg Hunt on March 19, followed by a hot air balloon event after church the next day; "7 Places" Easter production with performances on March 25 and 27.

Documentary Night
Sunday, March 13
7:00 - 9:00 pm in the Fireside Room

Join us for a showing of "8 Days" - a documentary revealing the realities of sex trafficking - and a discussion afterwards. Last week Pastor Kelly encouraged us to have a holy burden to be light in the darkness. Let's lean in together, break down stigmas, silence and shame around this issue and be more equipped to spread hope! Note: not suitable for young ages, and those sensitive to trauma may be triggered by certain scenes. Use discernment and self-care about attending.

Saturday, March 5
9:00 - 11:00 am

Starting this month, we will be "prayer walking" in our community the first Saturday of each month. We will meet at the church prior to heading out.

Topics of prayer for March: our church leadership; our church as a whole; and youth group trip to Mexico. All are invited and encouraged to come.

"You Have a Purpose!" will be our topic for Youth Group this Sunday, March 6 at 6:00 pm.

CALL FOR CANDY

As we plan for our annual Easter Egg Hunt on March 19, we are looking for donations of wrapped candy (small pieces with no nuts please). You can place your donations in the bin in the lobby on Sunday morning.

Freedom Sunday Offering Update: Thanks to your generosity, $3400 was given to help end human trafficking on Freedom Sunday!

36 Hours of Prayer for Easter: Beginning right after the "7 Places" performance on Good Friday through Easter Sunday morning, the Sanctuary will be open for prayer. You can sign up for a specific time at Guest Services, or come whenever you'd like.

Hot Air Balloon Event: On Sunday, March 20 there will be a tethered hot air balloon at Northside after church. We hear there may also be an all-church lunch that day. Stay tuned for details on the lunch and balloon rides. We will be inviting people who come to the Easter Egg Hunt on the 19th to join us for church and this fun event!
