GB Triple Jump champion visits school
Great Britain Triple Jump champion Nathan Fox visited Hereward Primary School, Loughton (Tuesday) as part of a fund-raising event during 'Health Week'.
Nathan led the children through a fitness session, demonstrated some of his jumping and training routines and then spoke to the children about his life and ambition to compete in the Rio Olympics this summer.
The school's Physical Education co-ordinator, Liz Ladlow, said: “The children not only had great fun but were inspired by meeting such a great athlete. We will all be watching the Olympics avidly now we actually know one of the competitors.”
