FIRST AUCTIONED EMBRYO'S ARE BORN!

Last week the two healthy colts where born at Stal Seldsum MH in Jelsum. Both where sold the last few weeks as an embryo trough embryauction.com

The first foal is the Glasgow van 't Merelsnest out of the half sister of Bubalu. Glasgow van ’t Merelsnest is an exceptionally well-bred stallion who is just starting his international top career under Jur Vrieling. In the 3rd competition in Drachten Glasgow won a heavy class and he finished fourth in the GP. On the dam’s side of this embryo we find one of the best mares lines, Holsteiner lineage 474A. The dam is the prestatie-awarded Nancara (by Indoctro). She is a full sister to the licensed stallion Montreal VDL. Montreal is performing at the highest level, for example, finishing 2nd in Lanaken, 1st in Leeuwarden, 5th in Lummen, 4th in Valkenswaard, 2nd in Goes, 2nd in The Hague, 4th in the Nation Cup of Drammen, 9th in Lanaken, etc.
The grandam is Zancara (keur-, preferent- and prestatie-awarded). She is the dam of the licensed stallion Bubalu, Great Pleasure and the Grand Prix level approved jumping stallion stallion Pessoa.

The second foal is out of the famous mare Sister de Jeu and the even more famous stallion De Niro. Sisther de Jeu was, after her successful career, only recently introduced to breeding. She is a daughter of the top-class progenitor Gribaldi from the impressive dressage horse breeding of Huub and Tini van Helvoirt, who also bred Jazz, for example.

€ 46.000,- FOR TWO EMBRYO'S

Embryoauction.com, the online auction for highly interestingly bred embryo’s, sold two embryo’s for a total of 46,000 euro the last few weeks.

The embryo of De Niro out of the Grand Prix dressage mare Sisther de Jeu (by Gribaldi), went for 24,000 euro and is now owned by an American client. The embryo of Kannan out of a daughter of Ben Maher’s top-class horse Cella (by Cento) will stay in the Netherlands for 22,000 euro.

So far eleven embryo’s were sold via embryoauction.com for an average price of 15,500 euro. Embryoauction.com was activated by Prinsjesdag Foal Auction in August 2015 as a new platform for the marketing of embryo’s. Standards are kept very high. Only crosses from the very best stallions and mares from reputable sport lineages qualify.
